Premature Ejaculation Tips

5 premature ejaculation tipsMany men feel shame, embarrassment, and hopelessness due to their problems with premature ejaculation. However there is no need to feel this way, as there are a multitude of treatment options available for men suffering with PE.

Some of these may range from a visit with your doctor, to taking a medically-approved herbal premature ejaculation pill, to simple things you can do at home in minutes. Here is our collection of premature ejaculation tips that you can do to boost your sexual stamina and help eliminate PE.

Here are 3 ‘Quick Fixes’ you can try to help last longer in bed:

Use a Numbing Cream or Spray

There are 2 main of these products. The first is the traditional “numbing” creams or spray that’s been on the market for some time. The upside is that you’ll feel less sensation, which will delay ejaculation. The downside is your partner may suffer a loss of sensation as well—and of course less sensitive intercourse is not always an appealing notion, even in these circumstances!

Try a Condom

It might sound simple or too good to be true, but the fact is that most men will last longer when using a condom during intercourse. Condoms reduce stimulation for most men (and women too) – which should help you delay ejaculation. Keep in mind that some brands of condoms include a “numbing gel” which should help delay early ejaculation even more. Be sure you know which side the gel is on before putting on the condom.

Use Strategic Pressure

There are 2 spots where a little anatomic knowledge may help you avoid premature ejaculation:

1) Pressing on the perineum –  midway between your scrotum and your anus – will help to delay ejaculation because this spot reaches through to the prostate gland. It is the prostate that contracts and expands during orgasm and then expels the ejaculation fluid. You can do this yourself, or ask your partner to apply this loving pressure for you.

2) Testes tug – When a man nears orgasm his scrotum rises up closer to his body. You can delay ejaculation by gently pulling your testes down and away from your body. Your partner can also do this for you.

These examples above are 3 examples of some “physical” tips you can try to delay ejaculation. Here are 4 tricks you can try in the bedroom that can help as well:

Chill Out

Reducing stress and anxiety can have a positive effect on reducing premature ejaculation. For many men anxiety and pressure to perform is a major contributor to PE and erectile dysfunction as well. Relax and remember that your partner probably cares about more than the timing of your orgasms, and that premature ejaculation doesn’t mean you can’t still be good in bed. Spend less time focusing on your climax, and more time enjoying sex as a relaxing, pleasurable time with your partner – and both of you are likely to enjoy it more.

Try ‘Peaking’ or ‘Edging’

Orgasm control, also referred to as edging – or peaking is a sexual technique which may be practiced either alone or with a partner and involves the maintenance of a high level of sexual arousal for an extended period of time without reaching orgasm. 1) Stop-and-start method: Have intercourse as usual until you feel yourself coming uncomfortably close to orgasm. Immediately and abruptly cease all stimulation for 30 seconds, then start again. Repeat this pattern until you’re ready to ejaculate. 2)Squeeze method: Have intercourse as usual until you feel like orgasm is seconds away. Abruptly stop other stimulation and gently squeeze your thumb and forefinger around the part of the penis where the glans meets the shaft (or your partner could do this). After squeezing for a few seconds, pause all stimulation for another 30 seconds before resuming intercourse. Repeat this pattern until you’re ready to ejaculate.

Many men find that repeated ‘Edging’ eventually helps them build up their sexual stamina and last longer during sex.

Change Positions

Changing positions gives you a quick break from the action, and often that alone can buy you a few more minutes during intercourse. Certain sexual positions put more pressure on the glans of the penis and will likely make you ejaculate faster. Consider using “passive” positions like being on the bottom, or a side by side position (spooning) – which are less stimulating and may help you last longer. Perhaps avoid “active” positions (missionary, doggy-style) which offer more stimulation and will likely lead to you ejaculating faster.

Think Unsexy Thoughts!

Austin Powers used “Margaret Thatcher naked on a cold day” – but feel free to use your own mantra to try and slow things down and give yourself a short break. If you notice yourself getting too excited, turn your thoughts to something distant, abstract and unsexy, such as math, football, or dirty baby diapers. Only dwell on it long enough to give yourself a short break from arousal, maybe 5 to 10 seconds, then refocus your attention on your partner. Don’t go overboard and think of something that is going to make you lose your arousal completely!
